I have officially moved closer to walking the path of El Camino de Santiago today. On 7/27/2009...1 PM Eastern...walked over to my managers desk and dropped off a signed resignation letter, informing the management of leaving in two weeks. I guess I was expecting some sort of reaction, but to my benefit, there wasn't a long conversation nor were there a simple "good luck". Shocker...
Step 1. Two weeks notice...crossed out...
Next up:
Step 2. Purchase a plane ticket to Cologne, Germany.

El Camino de Santiago
Planning to put a hold on my career briefly to embark in this adventure through Spain...There are few loose ends I need to tie up prior to my walk...first things first...a resignation letter on Monday...two weeks from unemployment...or in my case...FREEDOM!!
Here is wikipedia definition of El Camino de Santiago:
The Way of St. James or St. James' Way (Galician: O camiƱo de Santiago, Spanish: El Camino de Santiago, French: Chemin de St-Jacques, German: Jakobsweg) is the pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
I will be blogging my journey...my pilgrimage...my way of St. James...
Tentative date of departure: 9/9/2009
